📖 The Secret of the Robot Bird

Hi, I'm Lincoln, and here is my robot bird. We play in secret and have fun together in my free time.

This is the day it all changed.

We were playing peacefully until he crashed into something hard and rubbery. Oh no! I left my pencil case here!

He also made such a huge racket that my mom came to investigate. She found the robot bird and started scolding me for having a secret pet. Pets were absolutely restricted in the neighbourhood.

The robot bird wandered out of the door and went crazy over the now screaming neighbourhood. Then, an angry neighbour stormed up to us and shouted, “Is that your bird?”

I gulped, and the bird looked bewildered. I caught sight of him and ran swiftly to him. Before he could fly on top of someone’s head, I closed my fingers over the struggling bird.

The neighbourhood was okay for now…

I hid the bird in my secret stash and took out the robotic fish.
